This year, I decided to volunteer to pick up trash at Country Jam. For doing that, I got a free ticket for each day I picked up garbage. My sister Jessie was planning on taking her kids on Friday night, so I decided it would be fun to take Brenna and Brody. It was extremely hot but we still had a great time. The kids made it until the very end. Another sign they are growing up!

Saturday night it was the adults turn to have some fun. Saturday my niece, my sisters, and my mom headed to Jam only after getting a few guilt trips from Brenna. "Mom, you always go out" as she rattled off the three or four things I do without her each year.

We had a lot of laughs that night! It's not too often that my sisters and my mom all get together. The next morning Steve took the kids to Eau Claire so I could sleep in. What a gift!
