This is the Valentine Brody delivered to Brenna's classroom on Valentine's Day. When I saw this in Brenna's Valentine bag, I was so proud of my sweet little boy!

Missing Teeth!
It finally happened! The wiggly tooth that has been the focus of Brenna's attention since she first found out that it was wiggly, finally came out! It happened at school after she took a bite of an apple. Needless to say, Brenna was very excited to share her news when she got home from school that day. It was of course extra special for Brenna because she was the first to lose a tooth, not Brody! Not to be outdone, Brody lost his first tooth five days later. I needed a little tooth fairy 101 that first evening. Does the tooth fairy take the tooth or leave it? How much should the tooth fairy leave? Then came the moment of sneaking into the room to get the tooth from under the pillow. I was actually scared thinking about getting busted by Brenna or Brody. How would I explain being in their room with my hand under her pillow? The next morning I did find out from Brenna and Brody that of course the tooth fairy takes the teeth because she uses them to build a wall of teeth. Who knew?
It really seems like yesterday that I was waiting for Brenna and Brody's teeth to come in. Now those little baby teeth that I eagerly anticipated are falling out. I guess it's just another reminder that my babies are growing up, Speaking of growing up, they have been in kindergarten for 100 days!! They are more than half way done with kindergarten. This, of course, makes me sad because it again reminds me that they are growing up, and at times, it seems like they are growing up too quickly.

Outside time and Dance
The week before last was fairly uneventful. Brenna and Brody did not have school that Monday so they were very excited to spend the day with Carrie and her daycare crew, Lucas and Mya.
We were celebrating almost two weeks without a visit to urgent care, and then Friday came. Brenna got home from school and had a fever and cloggy sounding throat. Last Saturday, I took her into urgent care and she tested positive for strep. This is strep #3 for Brenna since school began. Thankfully, the medicine kicked in quickly and by Sunday, she was feeling much better. We spent some time outside enjoying the beautiful day!

Every Tuesday, Brenna has dance. The first Tuesday of the month is the only day when parents are allowed to watch. I decided to get some pictures this time. Brenna is so happy during dance class. She loves it!

Anti-Bullying week
Last week was anti-bullying week at Brenna and Brody's school. It was for four days last week. I managed to get pictures from two out of the four days. Each day correlated with a theme about anti-bullying.
Tuesday-Bring your favorite stuffed animal to school. Brody and Brenna both brought their pillow pets.
Wednesday-Pajama day
Thursday-Crazy hair day
Friday-Red, White, and Blue to show that you stand united in the fight against bullying.
Crazy Hair Day! Brenna called it octupus hair.
Brenna telling Brody a secret.
Brody and Brenna both really enjoy these special activities!
