Falling asleep...... refused to put her head back in her stroller.
Out for the count.......still sitting upright.
On Thursday, August 27th we took a trip to Hayward to go to Wilderness Walk. We also enjoyed go-karts, pizza, and the candy store. It was a great family day and the weather was perfect!

Brody took this picture of Steve and me.
Brenna and Brody love the mystery house at Wilderness walk.
They love each other. This tends to be the standard posed when both are willing to pose for a picture. :)
Do you recognize these goats?
Watching the fish eat food at Wilderness Walk.
This is Brenna's scary face. Part of our entertainment on the way to Hayward.
Brody's scary face. The way he can make his one eye cross does scare me. :)
Entertainment while we waited for our pizza. Carrie taught Brenna and Brody how to make binoculars last Tuesday when they spent the day with her. :)
Brenna and Brody helped rake up the grass last week. They rake it, put it in the wheelbarrow and dump the wheelbarrow out all by themselves. I told them I could rent them out, but I think there are laws against that.
Enjoying some time at home building a train track.
Brenna and Brody met their new daycare lady, Leslie, on Friday. They also met her daughter Vanessa(third grader). Griffin (1 year old), her son, was sleeping so we did not meet him. I know it is going to be a big change for them in the beginning with starting school and a new daycare but hopefully they will adjust. Hopefully I will too.
Another great summer coming to an end, which is hard to believe. Soon the chaos of working full time and being a mom begins! I look forward to seeing my students again and getting to know new students in Augusta. I will miss the relaxed mornings and extra snuggle time with Brenna and Brody.
