Chalk Paint Project

Chalk paint experiment one.  I think I am hooked.  I bought a cheap wooden headboard and painted it with Vintage colored chalk paint (American Decor brand) and then lightly distressed it with a fine grain sand paper. It took almost two jars of paint to get decent coverage.

Generations

 These pictures were snapped when my Great Nephew, Bentley, was just a day or two old and he met his great great grandmother for the first time.   A year and a half later, pictures worth sharing.

92 years between the two. LOVE this picture.

Before and After Chair Project

I figured out how to easily get pictures from my phone to the blog. Oh oh. This makes it even easier to avoid school projects. Here is a before/after of my first upholstery attempt. Hopefully you can tell which chair is the before and which one is the after. :) I found the fabric at Hobby Lobby and I was happy to say goodbye to the 60s gold.
